Mind full or Mindful?
Mental health is such a large topic these days and in my opinion, it always should be! The world is constantly changing around us and if you’re like me, you sometimes feel as if time is moving way too fast and you find it hard to relax and live in the present moment. Social media is constantly buzzing and sometimes it’s really difficult not to think about everything else going on outside of your immediate world. Learning to try and be present in my daily life has been an eye opening experience for me. I’m definitely not a pro by any means, I still find myself worried about the future and finding anxiety in the unknown, but I’ve found a few tools along the way that fit into my busy schedule and have really helped me. Here is a small list of tools that you can use every day, whether you have 5 minutes or 30 minutes, that can help you focus on mindfulness and help you stay present and focused in your daily life.

Guided Meditations on YouTube
There is literally one for everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. All topics, all durations. It’s the best spot to find guided meditations, and all free!

Daily Journaling and Gratitude
I do this every single day. You can find all sorts of templates for these online depending on your goals. See the one I personally use here that only takes me 5 minutes!

Ahead App
I stumbled across an ad for this app and decided to try it, and I really enjoy it! It does have an annual subscription, but it has all kinds of modules depending on what you want to focus on. It also stores your coping mechanisms so they are readily available in the app anytime you need them. It’s like a therapy game!

Journal Prompts
Pinterest has a ton of journal prompts for all topics. A friend recommended a book of journal prompts to me that I bought recently and am excited to try. You can buy it on Amazon here.
